These pictures are not works of art...these pictures are "I am so stoked and excited I'll just snap a few quick ones to share".

Tobin is definately "THE MAN". I can't praise the quality of his work enough.

I got a Puig dark smoke on backorder, could be here anyday. When it comes I'll take some proper pictures, tobins work is impressive...(gloss black btw, I think it was a great choice)

Ya know I LOVE the hump...but these seats look so good, the hump might have to stay home for a while.

Very nice! Tobin is the reason that my hump stays in the garage!

same here. I don't use the hump any longer unless I need the extra storage space and that is rare.
Tobin seats are awesome!

Actually, I can't wait to stop in at the local shop on a busy day

and show those things off.

I want some Tobins but have two questions:

1. Doesn't the ridge across the back of the front seat ride into your tail bone forcing your crotch into the tank?

2. Does the fact that the seat is lower to the pegs make the seating position less comfortable on your legs?

Those seats look so good I don't know how else to say it.... absolutely insane beautiful...

I have to have some of these.... I "NEED" them...

I am 6'1'', I was also wondering how the lower seat would affect my legs on my busa.

I am in the same boat about the height. I am also 6'1 and I am afraid to cut the seat. I like the height and I have seen the tobin seat without the "cut down" but it looks so much better with it. Maybe he could do a slight cut for the look and it keep most of the height!

Love the seats.

They look great.
I don't have them yet, but from what I hear he will do anything you like with seats. I believe this includes leaving padding intact and adding the raised portion.

Man, Your bike look so nice with the seats. I've got mine on order. I will post pics as soon as Tobin is done. Also, I am 6'2, I sat on Postal's Tobinized bike, (which is slammed as well), and the short length did not bother me.

As a side note, I installed GP racing pegs on my bike to compensate for the loss in sitting height. We will see how that works......

How much does the GP peg drop it from the original point?

Won't that make it that much easier to drag it when cornering?

If Tobin can maintain OE seat height and add the tail pad that would be great to see...pictures of this anyone?

I would say about 3/4 inch. The distance from the bottom of the peg to the ground is the same as the stock. The difference is that my GP's do not have the additional rubber and metal on the top in comparison to the stock pegs. So dragging is not a problem.

I would like to see pictures of a Tobin seat that has the same height as the original. (with the tail pad...)

I actually bought a used seat, my busa is my main transport system...I know it sucks I HAVE to ride her everydayyy

So I couldn't be without (I couldn't be without anyway).

However, I sent my seats from the post office the friday before memorial day and even with the holiday, tobin had my seat back to me on tue the following week. Pretty darn quick ain't he?

First Question: NO, it does make you seat a tighter fit though, and with the Hump pad, it will LOCK you in. But with just the seat, it's extremely comfortable

Second Question: NO again

, but I did change my pegs to the TLRs which lower them by 3/4 inch (which only gives you a added 1/4 inch over stock with the Tobin) , and LOOK much better
