Any idea what these marks are?

I have similar marks on my rear tire, I thought it was from a burnout I did. This is the front tire of a co workers bike so I doubt it's from spinning.

Exactly what marks are you referring too??? Are you talking about the "seam" lines?? Most dual compound tires will show where the softer and harder rubber meets.

Looks to me like it's the "seam" what tire do you have that u seen it on??

2019 Harley Davidson ultra and my 2020 Hayabusa. The marks seem to be on the left and center of the tire.

Agree with dopey it's the dual compound in tyres now for longer lifespan,my Avon's have it but you can see it clearly,will take a picture later

Avon storm 3d ,
I only ride in the dry and they feel pretty good
