Do people have a problem with them leaking and the glass becoming old looking? and what is a good price, thanks

Iv herd from lots of fellas they leak but I have a buddy that has has his for 6 years and he says hes never had a problem. Not sure what kind it is but brand might matter a lot.

Alot of times when I'm unsure about something sealing I will skip the gasket and add engine sealant to the cover.. Or install the gasket with engine sealant on both sides of the gasket.
I've never had a leak when using this stuff. Personally, I like the GM engine sealant but I've also successfully used the right stuff with no problems.

We have major problems with certain CVT transmissions at the dealer I work at. I was rebuilding a transmission. As I was reassembling the transmission I found out that we had ran out of the "special sealant" we where suppossed to use and it was on back order for 3 weeks. It had to go back together since the vehicle was under warranty and GM was paying for the rental. I instead decided to use "the right stuff" and prayed like hell that there was no transmission case leaks. This specific CVT transmission runs at 800 P.S.I. where this specific bead was applied to the transmission case. Had not a drop the slightest of leaks when I was done.

I made my own lock up cover for my busa sand rail. I used a smoke colored acrylic (plexi) and it has been on there for 2 years without any cracking or leaking. Obviously I cut an oring into it, but so far, so good.

I've never seen a clear cover that didn't leak somewhat. If that's your thing then go for it.

Pashnit sells ppm and ris. Heard both sides. Seems to be an individual problem not a part problem.

Its a good mod for bling and a custom look. But if your bike for whatever reason dropped on the left side and damaged the cover thats it.It will look very ugly and obvious:whistle:
