Any Nexx helmet owners able to quiet wind noise

Can only compare to my Arai and Z1R helmets, but my new Nexx XR1R carbon is the noisest helmet I've ever worn - even with earplugs it is loud - noise seems to be coming from the lower neck area just behind the ears - wondering if anyone has experienced similar and found a solution - helmet is great for weight, ventilation, and vision but the noise negates those pluses - gonna have to get rid of it if I can't find a solution so any suggestions will be appreciated - thanks -

Did you get suckered at the IMS? They tried telling me those were worth $600+. I wasn't buying it. Besides, the there was no padding at the crown of my forehead. Would have made for some very uncomfortable riding.

My Arai was one of the best helmets I ever had for noise an wind buffeting was your fitment ok

I don't have another because of the price.

Yes just add the shims that come with the helmet to the ear area, And top if necessary. It took all the noise away on mine. The best helmet i have ever owned.

Maybe try a different style of ear plugs?
