Myself and a few friends are wanting to take a back packing trip in Alaska ..North of Anchorage area . Somewhere deep in the woods .Probably 2 weeks walking..1 week in 1 out... & YEP 500 Smith&Wesson. I would just like to have a connection incase of any issues.. Anyone else want in?? My Martial Arts school has a say'in "Bibles - Beans & Bullets ( lifes priority )" It should apply to the wilderness pretty well.

I live in Anchorage, but I'll be honest, I don't do much backpacking. More a big city boy myself.
You planning on Denali park? I'm not sure about the rules for guns in the park... I'd have to look it up. But actually it doesn't take long to find yourself in some serious country if you're not paying attention. Getting deep in the woods won't take a week. A day or two and you're in untracked wilderness, depending on your starting point. When are you planning on a trip?
