any out-of-the-shop-ready-to-use cap for mirrors?

well, got my mirrors off, first of all because with them on, even closed, the bike can't fit in my house. secondly, because they are no use to me while in city traffic. i am so used to turning my head that when i got the bike from the store with its mirrors on, i still turned my head. let alone they make me nervous and reduce my visibility (maybe it sounds stupid, but it's what i feel like)

anyway, got'em off, not that good in patents and stuff, the buzzing doesn't really bother me, but i am afraid that something could brake because of the vibration. what have you people put there? where can i get anything 'ready-to-install'?

any pics appreciated...

I've seen some polished aluminum covers with the busa kanji machined into 'em, but I don't know where they came from. I also saw a drag bike without mirrors and no covers too. Aside from uglyness, I doubt it's gonna hurt much. We can make you some with no logo if you want. I'm planning on removing mine, so I'll be making some for myself as well. PM me if you're interested.

recommend you keep em on, but if you can't you can find the polished alums on ebay all day every day

You definitely want to cap them with someting that bolts on. That is aprt of the front nose support mounting and will loose some stability with those four bolts gone. I have seen the billet kanji ones also but can't remember where.

guys, i saw the sites you mentioned above, all ok, but i still have a problem. most accessories companies don't send products in greece and the ones that do (i think) eg this last url posted here, asks for $54 for the mirrors +$75 (!!) for mail expenses! this is ridiculous! can someone send me a couple of mirror caps and me send him the money via paypal or something? :/ help me out...
