I took mine all apart, and it looks pretty new. Smelled new too. I put it back together and had a few parts left, so I made an ashtray out of one...Still seems to be working ok...Still breaking in so probably wouldn't notice any loss of power or anything.

How is the turbobusa comming along? I've seen the pics at the Hayabusa zone, when are you going to tell us more. What turbo system are you using Mr.Turbo's or American's?
When will it be ready to ride?

Has anybody wrote a technical article of the Brock clutch mod available from Schnitz?

Kawabuser.... The bike is a Mr. Turbo project, which should be part of the Cycle World Shootout towards the end of the year (whenever they announce the date).

Right now, I am doing simple bolt ons... testing performance, in preparation for phase one of a major ongoing article on the Hayabusa. I expect to put it online next week.

As for the clutch mod... it's a neat piece for drag racing, it definately works... however, for road riding around turns, it tends not to slip the clutch like the stock system does, and tends to wash the back tire out in a down shift.

I've had the bodywork off for the first service and to fit an alarm. What a nightmare? There's never been a bike with so many nuts, bolts, fasteners and panels to hold it together. Take a look under the seat for a small example. Who needs to separate that connecting bridge into three parts!! The guy who fitted my alarm reckoned it was just about he worst bike he'd ever had to fit one to!
