I did a search on here but did not find any definite answers. I was ready to brake down and get a set of Heli bars and risers but saw the LSL top clamp that converts it to superbike bars. Has anybody here used these and what are there thoughts?
Thanks,
CWB

i have seen them with clip ons.... you can use them without replacing your triple though, IF U WANT anyway...mount below the triple

The problem with those is that you will need to buy new lines as well.... got the Heli and love them....

I have been wanting to do the same mod myself. I have a friend that did this to his 2006 GSXR 1000 and although it looks a bit odd the transformation in comfort is unbelievable. On the street I believe it is easier to ride quickly, but I don't think I would want to deal with it at the track. That is the main reason I have not done it to my 2007 GSXR 1000, which I use for track days. If you go with it make sure you are getting the brake lines you want, because the kit LSL sells only comes with a longer line from the master cylinder to the banjo split.

When I was just a young pup I attended the Kieth Code superbike school at Mid-Ohio. They had there bikes set up with superbike bars and the control you had with the wide bars was great.

If you go with LSL's consider new brake lines, clutch line and maybe throttle lines as well. Others on this site who have this set up will know for sure.

SORRY GUYZ, "JMHO", But that is hideous, why would you want to cut your busa up like that? :cookoo:
If your looking for better comfort, I'd say heli-bars for sure! Again.....NOT trying to FLAME or offend ANYONE, but I just cant see the appeal there ???

About as hideous as bolt on extensions.. :poke: Or that windscreen that a guy on here runs with that flip up extension thingy..

To each there own..

I have sold these kits to others and they absolutely love the control and relaxed feel it gives them..I've sold tons of helibars also and same thing, your comfort level is all that should matter...lmk if I can help you get setup..

To each his/her own but every bike can look the same and every person uses these bikes for different purposes...if they were all the same it would be like the world being all black, white, chinese or japanese we would never learn what was liked best if they were the same...

Go with Heli-Bars. They look almost stock and are much more comfortable. You will have greater leverage because they are wider than stock.
