That's a good price, there have been a couple sellers on ebay selling them from between 7600 and 8200 since last july. My local dealer cant get past the 8500 mark.
Went and test rode a "new" b-king at a dealer today. $8700 with a two bros exhaust. Factory warranty and qualifies for the Suzuki 0% financing. I'm interested but not sure I want to bite. I found the mirrors useless and the throttle cables block the gear display. It rode nice and the more upright seating made the power seem greater then my 09 Busa. I really think it would look better with a windscreen but I did see there are options for that. What are insurance rates on these? My Busa is in the $550/yr range. Just not sure if I should bite or not.

My 05 Busa and 08 B King are withing 25 dollars of each other for insurance. There are a lot of options as far as mirrors go. The Mirrors are a standard 10mm Bike Mirror so you options there are huge. It is worth noting that the stock mirrors have adjusting nuts hidden under the rubber and while I don't care for the appearance are well made and a lot of guys like them just fine once they are adjusted
I resolved the throttle cable issue with a black wire tie. Some guys resolved by slightly shifting the position of the handle bars.
On the windscreen I will tell you that I have the Power Bronze and I can not recommend it.
Where I find the B King nice is if I am riding in traffic, I can see everything around me, and stop and go is much easier to deal with.
I have heard that the perception of higher torque is all related to the riders position. I know the physics of this explanation, but I also wonder if the tuning is changing the experience as well. It is a different ECU and would love to hear from a tuner that did a couple of pulls with a stock Gen 2s and a Stock B King side by side. Just to see.
