Anybody ride a bmw?

Looks like a pretty slick ride, wondered how it compaired to our WonderBikes...

Any insight to the BMW world, any bike would be appreciated.

Heck I gotta ride 1 hour and a 1/2 just to find a dealer to look at one...

That exact bike caught my eye at the BMW dearlership about 2 weeks ago!!!!It really looks nice in person and I walked out with a brochure of that bike>If i'm not mistaken ,that bike has 167 hp wich i thoght was very interesting , to say the least.
Anyways, I just like to say that ,that bike caught my eye and in person i really ,really liked it.The only i didnt like was the colours that they were offering.

I did a test-ride almost a year ago. The initial production runs had some problems with the ECU but I think they have sorted out those issues.

I think this is the only bike you can go in and test ride...

Actually, I like the K1200 R better. Was looking at it but got the Busa instead. BMW would have cost me another $5,000+ easy.

definantly a cool effort by the beamer folk but...as has been said?..dealerships are few and far apart...and outside of general maint. items?...if anything breaks it's...pay up front...an order to bmw is placed..and if you're lucky?...you'll get a call 6 weeks later to come pick up your new replacement part...besides that?...as compared to H.org?...the bmw community is miniscule...no where's near the same numbers strength and comeraderie..which for me?...between that and a strong aftermarket?..is 1/2 the fun...i'm a people person..especially when it comes to fellow riders...and as such i hate the feeling of being on the outside looking in...and that sorta fellowship is something you can't buy...and an experience that can't be replicated by many other bikes on the market today..hail the mighty busa.

I also might note that the only other community that even came close to H.org is the ZRXOA...lotsa cool motorcycle folk there as well and..
