Hi guys, I join the club tomorrow when I pick up my 05 LE.
20 something years ago I rode my Suzuki GL650 on a midnight run across Lake Pontchartrain Bridge, a 24 mile span across Lake Pontchartrain to New Orleans. Back then, there really wasn't any good hiding places for the police, so I did my blistering 110 mph or there abouts (speedo read 115), only to run out of gas. Sucked my carbs so dry, took awhile for the reserve to fill the bowls so it would start.
Any cajuns who've tried the bridge at inappropriate speeds?
