hi guys... i was thinking of going 17 x 45 or 46 on my sproket size....i have been running 16X40 but need a little more umphh.. i noticed my 16 sproket wore of faster than the rear & my stock 17 cause of the chain wrapping around it in a tight circle,,...i am guessing so i decieded to go with the above.....if any of you has personally tried it please give me some feed back......also which chain would be the best?? so far i have seen the TSUBAKI ( sigma with T strength @ 10,600 lbs)

what are you looking for??? more low end?? 16/42 is supposed to be the ULTIMATE combo for that... might want to try that out before going to 17/46

Ill say this, Im running a JG? 16 front and a sprocket specialty 42 rear with the tsubaki sigma chain, I like the set up for around town, but on the open road, Im not so crazy about it. I like do 80 and only pullin like 4 grand. Now with this set up, 80 is pullin like 5200. And my speedo is way off, like 18 miles on the north side. I will say this, from stop light to stop light, you just thought the stock busa had pull, you will think somthing different after you do the sprocket change.

Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for ya, Ive tryed alot of different things so I can give you lots of different answers.

yeah smaller sprocket will make your odometer run up miles faster and I don't need any more miles on my ride than I am putting on.
