It of course has it's ups & downs ...
used to, Hawaii...well actually, I used to boogie board about 10 years ago. I quit when my head was nearly crushed by a rock after a nasty tumble in the surf. How ironic...now I'm doing something else that seems just as dangerous, if not more.
Holy frick.....thas one HUGE shark....could it be da Rubbah? Hehe...just kidding. Honestly though: I would be scared nad-less! Thank God we don't see sharks that huge over here.

btw - incase anyone didnt know thats not me in the shark shot however thats exactly what happen to me about 1982 at Ala Moana Park, Honolulu but the shark was about 1/2 that size.
Surfing is on my list of things to try before death, but shortage of oceans in Iowa keeps it off my permenant hobby list. Until I move, I guess the Videogame will have to suffice. Q: When I'm in the pipe, should I be sloluming or just pointing strait? And when do I jump up: midwave or at the top crest?
Yep, surf here all the time. I look for sharks from my condo before I go out
