Anyone in North Dallas, stolen Busa in N Dallas

I had my baby stolen on the 4th of July, 2002 Black busa with Triton wheels and HMF Big Bird exhaust. She had scratches down the left from a trailer accident which is why I never went through a quarter tank of gas on it. There is a couple thousand dollar reward, seriously, for any information to get even part of it back.
Thanks,
Kenny

We will keep an eye out for it over here in Abilene, if a new Busa shows up everyone knows.

I had a bike stolen in Houston many years ago, only had it 6 months.

Good luck finding yours.

Ill need the luck, the odds aren't good. I had my Blackbid stolen from Houston a few years ago, and saved to buy this bike after that. I wish the police cared. I put up a bunch of flyers around the complex which only has one entrance and my place is in the back. They took it straight out of the garage. It took balls, and they had to know. My neighbor thinks it is still in one of these garages and I wouldn't doubt it. I don't trust any of my neighbors right now.
thanks for the support and the help Ive got already,
Kenny

Place would be good. If I were you, I would see if there is a way for the complex to check the garages. I am sure you know that after about 2 days your chances of finding it are less than 50%.

But I was out today, no Busas seen, and I am in the North Dallas area (Addison,Plano)

Whats ironic was I was trying to figure out how to get the complex to open the garages around me.  There is only one entrance and pretty ballsy to drive it out.  I got an idea though, fake witness.  I figure they don't want the cops out although I will call them again to do that.  I had a kid lie to me about a bike driving out 2 hours before I got home, but I could tell he was lying.  It was raining real hard at the time he said.  It is a 2002, I always thought it was a 01 until they pulled the VIN.  You can miss the wheels or the exhaust.  The last two letters are rubbed away so they are hard to read.  It is solid black, but has some plastic damage on the left.  It was an orange Uhaul stripe that I used a sharpie with.  Before I got my strength back, I took it for a ride and dropped it standing still on the left.  The stator cover is missing paint and there is a little paint missing on the side.  It is loud as hell with that exhaust, the Big Bird.  I will put some more pics, but you can't miss it really if you know a Busa.

Thanks again for the help,
Kenny

to the garage with my .38. it was there but not a good feeling even in a dream. sounds like you have some bad neighbors too.

Trust me, if I catch someone taking the next one, they will be missing a hand. The only decision is the 10 or 12 gauge, unless I have a good day and I will just get the 410. This one is personal, Ill take a part of it back and still pay the 2500 reward with no questions. Im even paying rewards for parts off the bike. I had to help pay for two funerals last month and was doing everything I could to not sell her. I saved too long to get her after my Blackbird was stolen. I have a feeling I know the group, but I can't prove anything. I wish I could things my way, or the cops cared. It will only found in a police chase if they catch it, or find it in a garage after arressting someone for something else. It kills me to know what has already happened to her already.

Man i can't thank everyone enough for posting, calling me and getting the word out. I hope to be out riding soon. Whats worse is my dad just bought a bike two weeks ago so we could ride. And damn it was a nice day to ride today, I had been waiting so long for it.
thanks again,
Kenny

Has anyone ever heard of someone getting arrested for stealing a bike? Just curious how setup they were, what kind of people they were. Like if they had alot of bikes or hoping for a joy ride, or planned to get money off of parts.

If you have a feeling about a certain group, how about some surveillance by you or someone you trust.
Keep an eye on the classifieds and ( EBAY ) for parts and stuff in your area.
Good luck, I feel for ya.

Believe me I have thought of just about everything I can imagine. The people that steal do something the bikes which is why so many get stolen and hardly any are recovered. They have to be setup, but I still got an idea of a group in my complex. I keep hearing about others getting things stolen though so it doesn't sound that good.
thanks,
Kenny
