I have some questions about tuning my bike that would best be answered by someone that tunes professionally. I'm not looking for proprietary info or any secrets, just general info. Thanks.

Nobody? Wow. I figured there would be quite a few on here, puzzled.....

Ok, let's see here. I am wanting to know what parameters are available to tune with what software? E.g. on my Camaro I use HPTuners, which allows me access almost all data in the PCM, airlfow tables, VE tables, all the advance (timing) controls fueling etc. I am trying to find out if the only thing available to end-user level is the PC III USB or similar, as they dont provide much in the aspects of tuning. However, if that is all thats available, then I will settle with that.
Next, on the topic of USB III....are the maps user adjustable? Just adjust with the buttons or is there a software package that can acquired to access full control and adjustability of the parameters?

Thanks.

You can download the the software and watch tutorials from ther site.

To answer your question yes you can adjust the af mixture, but I think you will need a dyno to know what needs to be adjusted.

BusaWhipped, I like the literature on the Teka, however, what I am after is much more complex than the Teka, the PCIII, Yosh box and Fuel Nanny. I am wanting to get access to the spark advance tables at least. Oh well, will have to keep searching...I know theres something out there..how else do you reprogram the rev limiters?

I have what you need...just let me know when you are ready.

Actually I prefer to only use a dyno for a before to after comparison and that is it (unless I am tuning or big nitrous shots without tuning for smaller ones). I have been tuning my car for 4yrs, and quite familiar with many products out on the market currently for cars. I also have my own wideband, and will be picking up another to dedicate to the Busa, easier than portable setups and less wear on the cable not having to move them around. Tune on the street and track and get the AFR down right. I dont have any load bearing Dyno's around, so no good tuning on Dynojet just to have to compensate nearly all the fuel and advance cells once there is a real load on it. Thanks.
