I bought this stupid thing and out of the box it looks like a waste of money.

Its just a solid piece of fiberglass! There is no mounting points or nothing. You have to transfer over you stock seat setup to even make it work and drill holes through the body of the seat so your going to be sitting on screws anyways.

Def not an easy project!

Just a heads up for anyone interested...

I've been using a Carbon Fiber one for awhile. Lots of guys racing with them. Race only part unless you have buns of steel. Were you expecting it to be something else for a long drive? Transferring hardware over is not a big deal IMHO but that's pretty much how they all come. You can find a used complete seat to get the hardware so you can easily change seats for cruising as opposed to racing.

Wow got it thanks! I was just stumped on the transferring the stock seat parts over I though it was just a bolt on piece I do need to get a spare seat though. Once I got it on its a great piece of gear looking forward to racing with it this weekend.

I just took a used stock seat removed the cover and foam then wrapped it in duct tape sets deep in the bike bolts right up.
