Anyone use Turbo Tax?

Ok guys, for the last 3 years I have used an accountant to file my taxes. Each year the cost increases, he uses a computer program and it take all of 10 minutes to file. With the cost of 200.00 bucks, I am like WTH? So, I dont have any rental property, pretty basic stuff. Anyone use Turbo Tax, and if so, any problems? Any horror stories?

We use Taxslayer and it only cost $15!

i am going to use it this year and i talked to many friends and co-workers and they all recommend it highly.
make sure if you do it online, keep all your records in case!

h&r block online for me.. (if you make under 56K adj, it is free)

I've always used Turbo Tax and have no troubles with it.

If your return is extremely simple, you can do it on line for free, either on the IRS web site or on Turbo Tax's web site.

Worth a shot anyway. The way of the tax preparer is probably going away soon!!!

Been using TT for 8 years now I think. No problems here and I get $10K plus back every year.

Yeah, and our NEW US Treasury Sec. (the smartest Financier on Earth) did also. And when it showed him he didn't owe $34,000 in back taxes, he claimed it was just a mistake. So, if it's good for his Taxes, yours should be a NO BRAINER . Remember if you get that call, just say, "Gee, it's just a simple mistake"

I've used TT for a couple of years now for the same reason, steadily rising preparer costs. Has worked great so far. Itemize my mortgage interest, personal prop. taxes, etc.., works great. E-filed both state and fed taxes on a Friday, state was in my account the next Thursday and fed the following day.
