My question is : does air ride alone lower both the front and the rear of the bike, or is there separate lowering links for the front ?

Air ride lowers the rear. there is a NEW air ride supesion for the front.very expensive! a guy i know at local shop is doing one on his new project bike Busa of course

I saw a bike that had the ARS. He had dog bones in the rear and a lowered front by like an inch.

Lowers the rear but I hear its only good for show. The ride itself SUCKS!

Like I said ... that's what I've heard ...

air ride offers no rebound dampening and has no spring rate
good for cruising and thats about all

So what i'm gettin is air ride sux? Money is'nt the problem, but if it does'nt offer something more forget it. So i want to lower 3 inches, whats the way to go my brothers? thanx for all of your info

Replace tree clamp with a lowering clamp or get risers for the front. For the rear swap out the dogbones to adjustable ones. And if you're going to go 3" I suggest you modify your kickstand or get an adjustable one suitable for that height. Option 2 is better just in case you want to raise it back up some day.

i have the adjustable lowering bones. i like 'em. though about air ride but i decided againt it, for what reason, i dont know but just decided againt it. i would get a set of adjustable bones and a lowering tree. save the money and problems and be done with it.
