Aprilia Milee what do you think of their bike?

Ok board, my question is what do you think of this bike for those of you who have looked into it. I may be looking to buy one as a second to a Busa. I just received their brochure in the mail and it includes everything but the horsepower rating. The bike weighs around 417 lbs and is 997 Cubic inches. My problemn is im not that familiar with the characteristics of a v-twin other than the fact they are good for curvy roads. I weigh 220 lbs and Im 6'03 so after I go sit on one I may find Im to large for it.Appreciate any knowledgeble input.

Awesome bike, but kinda expensive compared to the japanese v-twins that are out there. They are well put together and have hp on par with the rest, but it will cost you!

At the time was looking to trade the ST4 for one untill I sat on it. My shoulders are wide my vanson is a 50--could not see anything in the mirrors except my black leather covered sholders other than that a good looking machine.

What did you expect, Gold Wing like accomodations? Ever straddled a 996 or 748? Its like sitting on a 2x4.
The standard mille is a phenomenal machine but if you really want the finest, go for the R model. Just about every bell and whistle you could ever ask for at 16,500.00
An akro race system with the PC2 and she's ready for combat. Have you heard one yet? Careful, you'll be in love.

Think that Performance Bikes would say something like "Does this bike make my *** look fat?" or similar.

I'm 6'4" and getting uncomfortably close to 240lbs nowadays and I did a test ride on the RSV Mille more than a year ago before removing that from my shortlist (leaving ZX9R and Busa back then) as the seating leaves something to be desired for me. I felt in need of a chiropractor after that ride, was almost unable to look behind me when wanting to ride away from my dealer to check for other traffic and, being used to inline fours for too long, it constantly felt like I was under-revving the thing.

Guess that after a while you could get used to the twins different feel alright but the ergonomics is another matter.

screw it go out and buy a tl1000r and put some yosh pips= duc performance , better sound, (i think the best sounding bike in the world) at a fraction of the cost of the aprillia and duc.
