Hey anyone know their spiders here?

I just saw 3 of these in my front yard, I havent ever seen these before... we live in the Northern Sacramento Valley in California.
Dont know what they are but they look like they could give a mean bite. From tip to tip they were about 1.5 inches or so...

We call them "Banana Spiders" here. Wife says they are fairly docile, but if you piss 'em enough, they have a pretty mean bite.

Looks like (what we call here in N. Georgia) a wrting Spider.

They are kind of big for a spider, make big webs, with a whiter zig-zag patern in the middle of them. When I was a child use to catch grass oppers and crickets and throw in their web, normally seen in the high brush or in a garden.

Not sure what spider that is, banana spiders here in Florida around me look like....

Spiders are everywhere right now. There are a lot like these, they are at least 3" long. I almost walked through a web at work face high, I stoped just in time, we were looking almost eye to eye. I think I would have freaked the hell out had that thing got on my face.

I shot one in pieces with a bb gun for frun that was almost 4 inches from tip of front legs to rear. Huge little bastard. Their bite is harmless aside from the actual bite hurting, the area will swell like a mosquitos but thats about it

That spider is actually called a Golden Orb, it has a square back, Banana spiders have an rounded back. The Golden Orb has a web that is gold in color, sometimes you have to look at it at an angle to see the gold color, only spider that I know of that has a gold web...

I hate spiders!

We have a bunch of brown recluses here. I kill at least one a week in my house, have to check my helmet, shoes, shake out my pants and jackets etc before I put them on. Those things will eat your skin off.

I cleared about 5 nice size webs out yesterday with my face while riding ATV's through the woods~!~

*groans*

Black Widows and Brown Recluse are very common around here but it sure beats seeing Camel Spider!

I hate walking to the deer stand in the morning and walking into one of those webs. You know there is a big black and yellow scary spider in it and all you hear is crack..crack of the web snapping all over your face and head.::9
