Are the 07 oil pans ther same as the 08 oil pans?

Took my bike for an oil change and noticed the drain plug leaking..... just wondering if the K8 oil pan is the same as the K7 pan.... I read the post on how to fix the pan with an oversized plug and just may do that. thanks

Was the crush washer replaced and the drain plug torqued properly?

yes, well the crush washer wasnt there, and once i removed the drain plug i saw the fragile aluminum in the threads of the plug....he felt badly and we opted to put in a 1/2 double oversize self tapper and new crush washer. he called a dealer and well a new pan is 120 dollars. so this seems like it'll hold it and maybe we will replace it in the fall....one thing i can say is the drain plug was way over tourqued from the factory. like when the drain plug was being loosened it actually made a pop sound then broke loose. several of the fasteners are way over tourqed.....
