Well, I'm not a drag racer as of yet, but that's what I bought my busa for. I just finished the 1000 mile official breakin period and ran across an electrical problem (you may have read my other posts), but once that's resolved, I'll dyno the bike in stock condition, then start making mods, passes, and more dyno pulls. I can't wait...

Which reminds me, I still need to order my drag racing suit. Bates or Vanson? Anyone want to sell a Muzzy sidewinder?

Oh, and I should probably post this in another thread, but does anyone run a triple clamp that has the clip-ons angled straight out the side perpendicular to the centerline of the bike (as opposed to the stock angle)?

Not sure about the Triple Clamp, I know you can get the ones so the forks can slide through. I'm going to get mine next month. The man over at Fish's says he'll deal. Have to check him out.

I'm going with the Vanson, I saw them both displayed at Gainesville, and both are great, just personally like the vanson setup better.

Glad to hear from you!! Haven't been to Psychobike.com much, I do go to the other site to talk racing though. What kind of setup you run? A turbo I take it?

I've lowered the back with the links 2", I strap the front for right now. My Trac Arm is coming next month, 8" over and Triple Clamp cover for front to lower another inch.

I think once the season starts up, we'll see some more activity here, though suzukihayabusa.org's drag forum generally seems more active.

Speaking of seasons, did you hear that the entire Prostar series will be televised this year? Sweet!

im a drag racer. well, im trying. im on the west coast and race the NMRA series for division 7. this year my bike is set up for the 60" naturally aspirated class. no more street riding but it should be fun at the track.

There are a lot of draggers here...Most have been busy building their bikes for the upcoming season and it's just been to cold to go to the track here...The local track doesn't open once the temps get in the 40's consistently...

Lots of Draggers but all the tracks up North are closed!

Temps in Ohio have been in the 10's, 20's & 30's so just a little to cold to even ride!

I will be posting more once I can get back out on the track and get some times.

There are some tracks here running now, but I've been so busy I haven't been able to test. Plus I've been waiting to get all my mods done. Probably be closer to March before I can give her a good run. Good to see folks talkin'.
