Are these good brakes

How does the moment of inertia compare with stock rotors? It may take more HP to get these turning compared to the stockers. I bet it does, or the Japanese companies would using these on sport/race bikes.
 
The increase in MOI is offset on the Buells by much lighter wheels. With the braking forces out on the rim the spokes can be a lot lighter. My only concern is the extra abuse the rotors are going to take being right on the rim like that, puddles, dirt, etc... Dunno if it would make a difference or not really though.

My only other thought is cost VS performance... I do not think you are going to get your money's worth with these in terms of performance, but they are different...

Cost vs. Returns.. Braided lines and a good set of pads will get you ass-in-the-air performance, why would you want more?
