Fighting in Iraq,looking for Osama,fighting terorism all over the world,aiding other country's after hurricans,tsunamis,earthquakes ect and now they have to declare war aganist our own people of NO.It reminds me of that movie ROBO COP  (part II I think) where the people take over the city.I could not imagine that could be real.Where is Charles Bronson with his wiliby ?

Nobody declared war on New Orleans other than hurricane Katrina.
Some people in New Orleans are killing/raping/and stealing(not food).

Our national guardsmen, police, firefighters, medics, and other people trying to help the people of New Orleans should be commended.  Not to mention the rest of the US and other nations will be paying for New Orlean's rescue, cleanup, and reconstruction.

The people of New Orleans should be thankful they live in a country where people will still try to help even if they're being shot at...

Very well put. We are not declaring war on New Orleans. We are trying to restore order (by the way the people there are fighting and killing each other, not the military). The military was sent there because these people are lawless and their City needs help. Why do you think we are declaring war on them?

What I mean is the national guard is trying to help and SOME of the people the bad ones are making it difficult so like the good guy's against the bad guy's.Like the national guard is got enough to do rather than have fire fights with the local gangs.Sorry for not being more clear.
