atmospheric pressure switch

Hello all im a newbie to the forum. I have a o1 model and I have noticed the previous owner has done the air box mod and also there is nothing attached to the vacuum port on the atmospheric pressure switch. Do I need this, or is this something that can be taken off? Thanks for the help.

I think you are referring to the vacuum solenoid that opens and closes the flapper in the air box. When you do the airbox mod the flapper is removed so vacuum to the solenoid is no longer needed.

Try searching the board air box mod. I know there are some step by step instructions with pictures. Maybe you can find the answer in there.

the atmospheric pressure sensor just needs to be connected to the atmosphere to function
