I'm using the dynojet quickshifter button on mine and I'm happy with it. A bit pricey if you have everything else. It looked much better than most of the other solutions I saw. I'm guessing it may be oem'd for them by someone else. I was able to squeeze it between the grip and the switch housing.

What does the quickshifter use to actuate the shifter? A pneumatic cylinder or a electric one?

Either way - Cycletek makes a shift system that works perfectly for just a hair over $300.

I just read the dynojet website explanation of their button - and unless I'm reading it wrong it seems worthless. You still have to manually lift your foot, right? If so ... then why not get a true drag race air shifter? (for about half the money or less) There is no downside to an airshifter. 75% of the time I just shift normally and don't even know it's there - but when I'm drag racing I just hit the button and it takes care of everything.

Just not sure why anyone would want this quick shift thing - all it looks like it does is kill the ignition.

You are correct it is just a kill function, the qucikshifter does not move the shifter. It is possible to program a PCIII USB with the kill instead of using a ignition kill box.

In my case, I'm using the button to activate both the air shifter and activate the kill in the PC.

Cool! Thanks for the clarification.

Threadjack for Professor: are you running just the Brocks ultra mod (clutch hub) or the Brocks cushion kit, or both. All I have to do is setup my clutch and it's off to the strip for me.

I'm running the Brocks ultra mod, the clutch stack height at 1.99 inches, Brocks spacers the come with the mod (.180 inch) 4 stock springs and 4 Barnett yellow springs. You’ll want to beef up the sprocket cover, with either a billet cover or a support. From everything I could find, I didn’t see where Brocks cushion kit was that much better than the factory revision pieces that the 02-current versions have.

Cool. That's kinda what I'd been hearing from others (that the cushion kit wasn't necessary) but that the ultra mod is absolutely necessary.

I run Pazzo's that I LOVE (you have them too I think) and to run the cushion kit I'd have to run the adjuster that won't work on Pazzo's - so that's what my thinking there was.

Thanks again, Professor - you've been a big help on several of these little issues I've had!
