What's up guys? I just want to let you guys know how these tires are holding up. I know I posted about it when I first got it and it was awhile back. All I can say now is I'm sticking with them. I put the f/r at 16,100 miles and as of yesterday, she has a little over 28,000 miles. I do mostly highway because there's really not that many twisties around here in MD. The rear is still looking good. I'll take a picture of them when I get a chance. I could probably get another close to 2,000 miles (I'm guessing)out of it and the front is still looking good, too. I loved these tires so much that I already have another set right here next to me so when it's time to change, I don't have to wait. I don't know how long they will last with aggressive riders but if you're a casual rider, I highly recommend them. Pretty darn good in the rain, too. Hope this review helps for those that want a long lasting tires. By the way, I ride for pleasure. I don't do hard launches, aggressive riding or anything like that. I remember when I had the PP's on my R1. I used to change the rear like every 4,000 miles.

i just got the pilot powers and i like the way they feel on the road, but i'm sure they'll wear quicker than i'll like. i will definately be looking into a longer lasting tire for my next set. i got them for stick in the corners but i'm realizing most of my riding is straight. thanks for the review

You're welcome, Rev. I know, 12,000+ and still have life left is amazing especially for the rear on a Busa.

I normally get 8000 miles out of my rear Storms. The storms stick well in the corners. The only place I don't have Avon's on the Busa is on the track.

There is a lot of meat left on those after 12,000 miles. Thanks I'll look into a set when baby needs new shoes.

what psi you running front and rear?? are you sticking with the recommended 42, or you running something else??

I run 36F amd 40R all the time. This is the most comfortable for me. Anything higher is a little harsh for me even after Greg at HPC tuned my suspension a couple of months ago. I weigh 180lbs. Thought I'd mention that. Also, I'm always riding solo. I'm telling you guys, the edges look like they haven't even been touched yet. My favorite ride is I68 around Cumberland area and I79 in West Va. I can't really call it twisties but it has some fast sweepers. When I'm on I79 especially, I average 80mph on those curves and these babies stick like glue. I really love them.

YO SLEEPER IM IN INWOOD PRETTY CLOSE TO YOU....HIT ME UP SOMETIME WE WILL RIDE...THOSE ARE NEXT ON MY LIST....

Where's Inwood? West Va is one of my favorite place to ride especially from the Cumberland area. I did RT 219 one time and I loved it. What I did was got on rt219 from I68 and took it all the way to rt33 and took I79 back to I68, I70E and I270 to get to Germantown. Please PM me your number where I can call and I'll give you a buzz when I go that way again. I'm sure you saw my post when I did 838 miles in over 13 hours and I did that mostly around the area I mentioned above.

that is great news.... i just put those on too and enjoying them. I scubbed them in at the dragon when the wife and i went there a few months ago.

Wow! You aren't kidding about your mellow riding style. 1-2 inches on the edges that has never bee touched.
