back fire on decleration

my bike back fires on deceleration. what is wrong i checked several things. i stumped for now.

If your bike is stock, you probably have a exhaust leak....if you have aftermarket exhaust have you done the pair valve mod ?

sounds like the pair valve needs to go, or simple search this mode and plug the line with a marble. You will find the links

I have an 04, full BDE system, PAIR is removed air box mod, I get the back fire only when I get hard on it and then off real quick, but from what I can see just about all the bikes do that, if I'm wrong someone please let me know.

If it is completely stock, no exhaust mods, it should not backfire.

On a stock bike if you have a exhaust leak....on deacceleration you can suck in outside air into the ex system and when mixed with the unburned fuel in the exhaust....it will back fire. It could be a loose connection at the mide pipes or a small leak at the head.
