Cut my stock rear passenger peg brackets and had them chromed. Cut the bracket to a point to match theme of pointed swingarm blocks. Installed titanium pegs to see what it would look like with chrome.
WOW!! looks good ive been trying to think of a good way to do that. How did it look before the chrome, like after you cut it and sanded it. not nice enough to put back on the bike? i wish they made a nice set of rear pegs...
I would like to do something with the left pass peg as I have a 421 exhaust the hole is just hanging out there... I would love to grind it off, I assume a stationary grinder wheel would work? Then get the front and rears chromed like that, whats it cost to do chrome? I have no idea.
To chrome both the brackets cost me $50...$25 each. Yea, I was expecting it to be more. I dont know the name of the chromer. I took my parts to Metroplitain Chopper and they sent them to their chromer. Parts of my Gilles rearsets are their now getting chromed...Those things come anodized and are costing a BIT much more to chrome.
