Fellow Busa Lovers:

I made the fatal flaw of selling my 2005 Busa in 2008 as my wife was interested in riding two up and so I went all in like I thought all Old guys are supposed to do, and dropped $24 on an Anniversary Addition Electra Glide. Well 18 months later and only 1800 miles I realized that I was tired of not riding.

The Harley is amazingly comfortable indeed, but as boring as anything to ride. So I've come to the brutal conclusion that a man MUST have two bikes. So yesterday I picked up a Silver '09 and Hallelujah Brother, my adrenalin is flowing ONCE AGAIN.

GOD I forgot how much I loved the Busa. Granted I've only dropped a quick 120 miles on her and am following break in procedures of not hitting much over 5k RPM, I did have to hit 100+ just to see if I still had a pulse.

I'm back, and cant wipe the grin of my face.

Greetings ALL

lol, congrats old guy. my wife says the busa is more comfy than a cruiser.

The Hayabusa spell is hard to break. I am with you all the way... My HD collects dust.

"Oldguyonbusa"??? Look at his public profile!!!! 39 years old! What does that make me? Rottingcorpseonabusa? wrinklygreyhairedgeezeronabusa? Wow! I'll know when I'm old, it will when I look at a freakin Harley and say, "Gee, I think I'll sell my Busa and buy one of those!".

Had a Yamaha Roadstar 1700, the wife loved to ride with me but I was bored as hell so I traded in on the busa and told the wife to start looking for her own bike to buy or ride on the busa. She is looking for her own bike to buy in the spring.

:welcome: back to the oRg. / Busa. You sound like you were a member here, if so contact an admin about getting your original account back.

Yes the busa is addicting. So much so it can cause others around you to get an addiction to bikes as well.
