Back Protection

I am in the market to buy a back protector. I have looked around and seen some of the different options out there. I am interested in picking up a Bohn Pro Racer. Bohn Armor Has anyone tried one of these out? Good, Bad, Ugly? Or is there another manufactuer that you might suggest. One of the main reasons I am want to go with the Bohn is because of my height, I am 6'4 an they make a protector for taller guys. Any help would be great

I wear one made by Knox, distributed by Teknics in the US. Before I got mine, I did extensive research and found that 2 ranked consistantly up there for comfort and proven protection: the Knox and the Bohen.

Further research found that Bohen USED to be the US distributor for Knox. However, the owner of Bohen got greedy and started knocking off Knox's design. It was a very good knock off from what I read. Needless to say, Knox broke off all relationships with Bohen, and Bohen started manufacturing their own stuff while Knox went with Teknics as a US distributor.

Take a look at the pictures of the Knox compared to the Bohen. Looks about the same.

That explains all of the new Teknic stuff that has Knox armor in it already. I have a new pair of glaves and a new mesh jacket that have Knox-branded armor in them. Looks like it's a good deal for Teknic.

Not too sure about the one that you are asking... but I use a Dianese, and am pretty happy with it!! Noce quality too

I wear Bohn upper and lower body armor and I'm happy with the quality/comfort.

Rossi wears Dainese, so if it's good enough for him...
