BAR ENDS - Post up your recommendations!

Hello everyone!
So here I am wondering what to do next to my bike.
I would love to do the Frankenstein Bolt’s to get rid of the luggage rack bolts, but there are none available.
So I moved onto the next inexpensive mod, bar ends. I would love to remove the stock bar ends which are extremely heavy. I understand they are designed for vibration absorption, but I would like to downsize them to very small and slim ones.
So what am I looking for? I am looking for bar ends that are ¼â€™ thick or smaller just to be there. I would like to get them BLACK as well.

I removed the little red vinyl stripes in mine though. They have a good weight like the stock ones. I have never tried to ride without them to see if the lack of weight caused more grip vibrations or not.

notice anything missing from these pictures? yes that's right no Frankenstein bolts, if you ever repaint i suggest you cut them out and fill in the hole where they where it really cleans up the look, AND saves about 3 oz of weight... also i have no bar ends and my bars don't vibrate at all, if u think about it they arent needed the whole triple tree is mounted on a rubber cushion

yes, but you have to make the bolt shorter.....a 1 1/8 inch fender washer and some black paint will work nicely

Did you just clip the stock bolts? Did it mess up the threads?

no it doesnt mess up the threads..you can take a file and file the edges a bit after cuttin
