bar riser ??

already have buell pegs on my 08 busa, and my tobin seats should be here this week. After reading all the posts about bar risers for more comfort i am interested in doing this. Is there anyway i could just use washers or a short cut piece of pipe to raise the bars up, this way i could try it out and see how i like it instead of spending $100 or somethin and not likin it. Opinions please

Try the ones from soupys. They are about 20.00 and come with the spacers and longer bolts. I also painted mine black so they ddo not stand out so much.

are those risers homemade, what about the gps mount, was that hard to make. I have a garmin nuvi 780 gps for my truck and would love to be able to mount it to the bike

I bought the risers from soupy's. I made the mount for my gps.

i put 3/4 inch "reaper riser spacers" on my gen 1 and they made a huge difference and hardly noticeable. i think i paid around $40 for them which was reasonable for me.
