I haven't been to a pro baseball game in 25 years but last week I won a silent auction fundraiser that was 4 premimum tickets to our Reno Aces semi-pro game. It's tonight and called "fireworks friday". They are playing the Sacramento team (name?) and the tickets are behind home plate.
Reno has an awesome new stadium so I'm really looking forward to hot dogs, popcorn, cold foamy drinks, etc.
This otta be fun! Doyle

I drove by that stadium the last time I was Reno and it looked pretty sweet for a MiLB stadium. The town I live in is the Single A affiliate for the LA Angels of Anaheim. I love going to those games. I've seen tons of guys in minors before they get to the big leagues.

Congrats and Enjoy! :beerchug:

so how was the game?

It was really fun, so cold it felt like Candlestick Park in Frisco! The game ended with a grand slam for the win and was not "a yawn" at all. Not happy with $5 kettlecorn but $5 parking was not bad.....used to pay $30 bucks in Los Angeles!
Saw some friends there, watched some fireworks and I think I'll start being a baseball fan! Raydog

congrats on the tickets! it's a good time as long as the weather plays out. i hit Fenway 1-2 times a year to get my fix. there is nothing like it.

I'd go to one of those games if I didn't live so far away!
Oh, Raypup? Them dogs will kill ya bro!! Shame on you!!

I am actually a little north of you in lewiston Idaho. I am playing in the NAIA college world series and that's the host location. I play for Lee University in Tennessee and I just graduated but stick get to finish out the season. It's sad that the game I have played for 18 years is gonna be over soon. But I still love the game of baseball and will be a fan my entire life.

That's great, it doesn't mean you can't play in local leagues, you probably would be monster good in a softball league!
