Batery Problem

I have to change batery everytime I ride. Is it normal or I have to get heavy duty batery? If yes, please tell me from where can i get it?

ummm not to be nasty but do you think it is normal for you to have to change a battery everytime you ride? Sounds to me something is drawing juice from the battery when it is not suppose to. I would take it in and have a shop run some tests. The battery should last a couple years without having to replace it.

I think he meant to say charge ? are you turning your key to far into the parking light position ? I did that with my sv when I first bought it.

Anybody Busa act like the battery is weak after the engine been running awhile, and after it sits awhile it will start fine wehen the engins is cold or cool?

yeah mine did that and now its DEAD .... better get a battery tender and start thinkin about replacing it .... I know I'm getting ready to order the 235cca one from Schnitz

Mine also, and I also got the schnitz high output. No problems now!

I purchased the 235cca battery from Schnitz last year after my starter went and took a dump on me. Bike seems to turn over a lot smoother now, and that's compared to BEFORE I had starter problems.
