Battery overflow

i was just cleaning my bike and I noticed battery acid has overflowed on my swingarm, i cleaned it off w/polishing compound, is this a common problem does the vent tube need to be rerouted ?

The battery is a sealed battery should not leak take it back to the dealer The swingarm if it had battery acid on it should be replaced.
