Battery Tender

Hey all,

Be awhile since I've posted. Been lurking quite a bit off and on. Good to see lots of folks old and new.

Due to work and family issues I haven't been riding much. Maybe 500 miles in the last 18 months...

anyway...I need a Battery Tender and am heading out to grab one this afternoon. I'd like to use the permanent mount pigtail so I can just roll into the garage and plug in.

How are you guys hooking the pigtail up? Are you connecting to both terminals or positive to pos terminal and neg to the frame?

Thanks and merry christmas!

Got her done. Routed the cable back through the trunk and out the hole in the rear left plastic, next to the subframe. Drop the pigtail and plug her in, no muss, no fuss.

Thanks again everyone!

not to hijack the thread but i think i installed mine the same way you did Monty... here are a few pics of where i put my tender connection. The camera flash is really making the hole stand out but in real life it is hardly noticeable that the connector is in there.

Ran my wiring in the same location. I fold the end over and stick it up behind the upper tube so it stays out of sight.
