My battery just died on me after the winter,i allways buy yuasa,but every year i need a new one.
So what your guys buy?
Thanks, Velloz.

A new one.

Option 1: remove the battery and keep it inside, but do not leave it on a concrete floor.
Option 2: Buy a battery tender. Hard wire it to your battery and plug it in all winter, The tender will keep the battery
juicy and waiting all through the cold months. Just like I do with my women.
I've had the same battery for 2 really cold winters in NH on the bike in an unheated garage.

Buy the battery tender, they are $25-30.00. Even a dirt cheap battery will last several seasons with this. My other bike is a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100, have always used a battery tender, and still has the factroy battery..

To answer your question;

For everyday use and also for your big block build ups,, The Yuasa 'YTZ14S'.

I'm in Jersey, not as cold as NH, but can get pretty cold, 6 decent months of riding, maybe 7 overall.

My last few Yuasas have lasted at least six seasons, being charged in the winter.

Before a 1500 mile, five day sport tour last summer, I replaced the original battery in my '01 ZRX. It had 6 1/2 seasons on it and was working fine, I just figured trying to get a full seventh season out of it was not worth getting stuck on the trip.
