How many of us have said that we'd love to just have some time off to do whatever? For the past 2 1/2 weeks I've had a lot of time on my hands.
This is what I've done so far:
- cleaned the baseboards in the hall, livingroom, kitchen/breakfast area and stairs
- cleaned the windows in the livingroom and french doors.
- rearranged the furniture in the livingroom.
- gone to yoga class every Friday
- cleaned out the sorely neglected flower beds
- job searches every day.
Today I'm moving to the kitchen or our youngest son's closet.
Still on the books:
- do the kitchen or our youngest son's closet...whichever I don't do today
- prune the roses (will get to do this twice, now and again in the winter)
- clean and organize our office (this has to be done next week before we leave for the Bash)
- clean and organize the bird room
I need to be somewhat frugal since we want the severance to last as long as necessary, but I'm thinking that I'm going run out of things to do.
