Best Camshaft for Balanced Performance on a Suzuki Hayabusa gen3

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade the camshaft on my Suzuki Hayabusa and am aiming for a balanced performance—improving both low-end torque and top-end power without sacrificing reliability or street usability.

I've heard good things about Web Camshafts, Yoshimura, Kent Cams, and Brock's Performance, but I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with these or any other brands.

Can anyone recommend a specific camshaft that delivers a good balance between low-end and high-end performance? I'm also interested in any tuning tips or supporting mods that would complement this upgrade.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Isn’t this exactly what the Gen3 accomplished?

@Senalsuwaidi if you live in Dubai, Call Alif Performance or kamikaze UAE. They have super fast bikes and they know a lot performance. Currently I'm using Gen 2 cams on my busa and she is another beast.

How does your Gen3 with Gen2 cams compare to your Gen2 with Gen2 cams?
@sixpack577 I hope all is well brother. Well my bike has now 193 hp with Gen2 Cams ,22 more hp only with Gen2 cams. I have friends pretty much with the same set up for Gen2 and same hp but with VP race fuel I'm using Pump Gas. My Gen 2 was fast but my Gen 3 is faster. Remember there is a lot of factors here, I have been focusing more on how to drop weight in my bike plus mass rotation ( CF wheels, Ceramic bearings, rear brake delete 520 convertion, etc) is something that I never did with my Gen 2. Everything counts in this game my friend.

Hold on a sec, u already put gen2 cams on ur gen3? I know it will fit on gen3 and runs better result. Did't know my buddy @Fernando already done it. :D

Team, let me clarify something about the Gen 2 Cams. I'm not saying that the Gen 2 cams are better than the Brock, Yoshimura, webcams etc... I'm talking about my current setup and how well it works. It is about taste and how much are you willing to spend.

As it has been discussed countless times, if you're simply looking for an upgrade and better performance, better top end, go with the generation two camshafts. It's a good simple easy to accommodate modification. Plug them in, done. Have it tuned properly, and you're good to go. Heck, you could flash it after a generation two upgrade, I'm sure Moore has a flash for that.

Pair valve delete, full exhaust, ready to go.

A dyno tune would work better though.

@robert0046 Those are your cams. Line them up, check the marks, get a tune.
