Best location to mount a GPS Gen III

So my Gen III Hayabusa is my day bike for short trips of 100-200 miles so on most rides I don't need a GPS but I'm planning to haul my bike out to Tucson, AZ for a couple weeks of riding and since I'm not familiar with the area a GPS would come in handy. So where is the best place to mount a GPS? How best to wire it to power it on? Thanks

I use for my phone for navigation, so the QuadLock system works well for me.

Thanks I'll have to check quad-lock out but I prefer to use a GPS unit rather than my cell phone.
