Hey all U bike folk! Where was it written that the muffler has to be on the right side? Is it cause the OEM folks put it there? Or Because most all tracks run counter clockwise? Flat track, dirt tracks, always ran that way which is why the H.D. sporty had the shifter on the right! My one muffler mod to the OEM header stock riggins seems to run even better with the can on the left, and my hard stand has a stop which is on the midpipe. Does any of you Busa gooroo's know why the stock header has an expanded chamber on the left stub out and not on the right

PS A few houses just a few hundred yards down the street had some serious damage from a twister this am, i just got woke up from the thunder rain & wind, which is a regular thing here for us! Thank God!!

I would assume you're probably right, as far as the track goes. Maybe it's cuz we mount and dismount from the left?

In all honesty, that looks goofy as hell to me (no offense). However, it kinda reminds me of something like a UK car with the driver's side being the right.

Thanks for your honest input

But not all mount from the left! and why do they say a horse is always mounted from the left? If my bike is on the hard stand its no lower from the left! Just thinkin out of the BOX. Chain maintenance is easy with it on the right but brake work is! Oh well you like this better

Go ahead and be an individual..... do what makes you happy it's your bike.

Seeing the pipe on the left makes me think the bike is going to tip over that way, just not used to seeing it that way and makes it look off balance....

i like it, it is different.
and thanks for the old mirror trick.

as for why we mount horse from the left.

that is the way a horse is broke, mount from the left side,
it gets a horse in a tizzy when trying to mount from the right after being trained.

how did you get the chain on the other side?? It is different. For me, I mount/dismount from the left so I wouldn't want the can near me.

The pic is flipped around in photo chop.

It does stand out, not bad or anything though. I like it, the coloring, the work is all tasteful and you should enjoy it. I would try and figure out something else to do with that right side block-off, find a way to incorporate a merge collector or something, but all the same its nice to see different approachs to the same interests.

I know that some bling people like the can on the right side because it is considered the "show side" as fully exposed with the kickstand down.
8, I like what you have done.. the blue on the rims just knocks me out. The can on the left seems to me like the thing that will have people looking at you scoot going "Hmmmm. Something is different. Can't put my finger on it just yet... Give me a sec."

Thanks all for being kind! The block off is no prob! No BS it runs as good as it ever did! With the TRS Yoshi's or stock cans. I think the race core, X two is too open. I'm leaving it with one, and oem outlets so if i get a hunger for the V max look

Horses are mounted on the left because in the old days when soldiers mounted horses their swords were on their left side so they could be drawn with their right hand. just another stupid F.Y.I
