Bike can’t start when on side stand

Hi need help,my bike can’t start on side stand...need to mount on it n made it centre then the bike can start,anyone can explain it thks...2012 gen 2...

I’m sure it neutral gear before I start it

Kickstand switch is wired to the plunger on the pivot assembly. I don't know where the tip over switch is on a gen 2, but I'm sure someone will chime in.

Tip over switch is under the seat in front of the battery. Little black square thing with rubber around it. However, if you are able to start it with the kick stand up and sitting on the bike, then while it's in neutral just tip the bike over to the left as if it was on the stand. This should test your thoughts on the tip over switch.

The stand sensor plunger can get crud in it and become prone to sticking , maybe check that and crc it . You can junk that setup altogether with a delete plug / cap from Schnitz for 20 bucks . Good luck .
