We had a really windy day on the day my adjustable kickstand came in the mail and my bike got blown over in the parking lot. Never have I had such a heart breaking moment lol. Most of the damage was done to the blue and silver sticker on it, does anyone know if those can be purchased or do I have to get a whole fairing

Sorry to hear, have you thought of just taking the stickers off and go with the naked look?

I don't think the bike is light enough to just blow over. I had a friends Triuph 675 blow over, that I believe. Any haters 'round your parts?

About the sticker...use a hair dryer/high heat, peel it off then see what it looks like. You may be able to buff it out.

we had 60mph gust the bike is really low to the ground and almost stands straight up and down with the stand down. Even the smallest bump and it will rock side to side

Sound like you need to get a custom stand for lowered bikes, check out our sponsors I'm sure several of them can help.

With the tape, check with our sponsor Motorsports Super Center.

Double check the paint code to get the right tape.
Item# 5 on the Under Cowling blowup.
Part# 68185-24F10-DAJ (supersedes 68185-24F11-DAJ) TAPE, LOWER RH FOR YHG $29.18

Sorry to here that chief. at least the damage is minor. I would just ride it like that. Can't keep that paint from being scuffed forever. Hurry and get that kickstand on.

Sorry to hear that. I did the kick stand mod and ground a little extra Even extended and lowered slightly in the rear it leans really good.

thanks for the part number. Yeah the funny thing kinda is the mail man was the one who told me it was laying on its side and in his hand was the package that had the kickstand. Gotta find some humor in everything I guess, on the plus side state farm did cut me a pretty nice check

gotta love state Farm!

Try stopping at a vinyl sign shop and asking to see if they have scraps to match that blue. I found some pretty good size pieces of black that way for like $5 and made a template off my side stickers using maskng tape. Just followed the straight parts and traced the curves with a pencil. Pulled the masking tape off slow and layed it on the scrap vinyl. Cut with an exacto and slapped them on! worth a try if you like to tinker.

Same happen to me last week as i was get on it it rolled of kickstand....Sliders did there work..No plastic or paint damage... mirror scuff and broke tip of clutch lever...But i like the shorty clutch lever better then the stock any hoot...

Just looked up a right side panel for the '00.

$675. Ouch. It'd be more cost effective to buy an entire set of gently-used plastics. :poke:
