I along with some friends were in a local hot rod and motorcycle show. GSXTacy (Chris) along with 6 others enjoyed a great weekend, Thursday night was setup and fri, sat, sun was show, we rented couches and just had a great time, lots of bs'ing and drinking
We had a vrod, hp4, 1098s,1098s tricolor,duc monster,bking,gsxr600,busa
It got sketchy yesterday afternoon, it was freezing raining in the morning but we were told roads were just wet around 3:30 when we left, rode about 5-7 miles, all was good until about 4 blocks from my house, solid ice, I slid into a intersection and about ate it, abs don't help on ice, all ice. I kept it up and made it into my driveway, from her I had to sit on my bike and call my wife to put my kickstand down as it was froze up and I couldn't get off bike as I was stuck if I moved my legs I was failing, she held my bike so I could get off and we pushed it into my garage. Washed it last night so all is good now.
I am happy to report all 7 bikes and riders made it home, and yes stupid idea to ride home, lesson learned.
There is nothing like sliding a $25k bike into a intersection that has a downward slope to it, my guardian angel was there for sure keeping that baby upright.
We had a a 10x65 booth
