Bike Show

I thought it was a dealer show in CA or NV but don't know any more about it. I am desperately looking for a couple of matching Copper helmets my dealer promised me before I found out they were sold out.

Busapower, don't fret they were middle of the line Shoei's nothing great, do your self a favor and get an Arai RX-7(great ventilation wihth a removeable liner).

Dealer show is in Vegas this weekend-midweek, Milan show is on now but a little far from Cal. to ride your Busa to.

Are only dealers allowed or can the public attend also? How much for a ticket? It would be a nice ride to Vegas from Simi Valley. Maybe a top speed run on the 14 or 15 highways, on a weekday? Thanks for the info.

Follow the link for info on this year's bike show. http://www.motorcycleshows.com/sc.cfm

I live near Hollywood, I will be there. Hope to see you there too busapower. Also go to Melrose Ave, this weekend Sept. 18 on Saturday around 2 - 3 pm. Ducmanic and I will be there. Check his post.

for busa power, i recommend having your old helmets airbrushed with a personal touch. mine came out so nice. i had them airbrushed with suzuki top/front. hayabusa bottom/front. soja1/back and a soldier with betty boop on the back about 6 inches high. Japanese busa symbols on the side.

I have all good comments on the helmet. A lot more than my friend with the black and grey suzuki busa helmet. Find you and airbrush specialist and find out how much.

I live in the L.A. area and am wondering where and when and who can go to the motorcycle show. Any and all info is greatly appreciated. I would love to ride out and see all my brother Busa riders and owners. Thanks.

Ducmanic, and Waltman: I will be camping this weekend up North. Next weekend, the 25th, a co-worker and I and my neighbor will go up into the mountains behind Canyon Country for a little 80 miler. We work a half day until about 1 p.m. or so, my email is mgraeber@fadal.com, let me know if you are interested. The more Busa the better. See ya.

And if not I will try to make it down to Hollywood one Saturday. I'm copper/silver. Soja1: thanks for the hint, I am leaning towards personal helmets since I will have a personal plate. Happy riding all. See ya.

Busapower,
Thank for the ride invite-My schedule is real weird, almost all at night. Hope you can make one of the Melrose Sat. Meeting, first one 09-18-99. It will be nice if it becomes a regular Sat bussa meeting 2:00-3:00pm. E-mail me with your ride info. Thanks

Here is the route in my buddies words. Give me a call at work before 12 noon if you want to go mgraeber@fadal.com. We will leave from Chatsworth, in the Valley after work. See ya.Get to the 210 heading east just after the 118/210 exchange. Exit Osborne. The ramp puts you on Foothill. Turn left, go under freeway. Turn left at the first light. Continue for about ½ mile then the fun begins with a right left chicane. This road runs about 15 miles over two ridges. This road is tight with many blind corners. I have never seen any speed patrol on this road in nearly 6 years.

At the end is a 3-way intersection. Continue straight to Soledad Canyon Road. Turn right ride about 5 miles to the next canyon. This one is faster with two long straight-aways for you boys to play. Although rare I have seen CHP cars several times in the last 6 years. Continue until a 4-way stop sign. Continue straight to the next intersection, turn right on Aliso Canyon Road. This road is also fast. There are two blind rights that tighten up on exit. I have never seen any speed patrol on this road in 6 years.

This road ends on Angeles Forest Hwy. Turn right. This road is lightly patrolled (one ranger in a car, which is usually parked at the Hidden Springs Café’) This road is fast sweeping corners, some blind.

Approximately 5 miles past Hidden Springs Café’ take a right on Lower Big Tiqunaga (spelling ?). Again this road is fast sweepers and lets your out on Foothill. Turn right until you come to Osborne. Turn right and do it again.
