Hard to believe it’s been a year.  Today I made a quick detour off I-10, on my second leg of the trip to FL, to check out Biloxi.  I hadn’t been back since Hurricane Katrina.  It still looks disheveled.  I took the pics while driving, so they’re not the best.

I was in SW LA and SE Texas a couple of months ago and it is just amazing how much of the damage is still there even in those areas hit by Rita.

Thanks for the pics. I lived in Biloxi and was stationed in Gulfport during and after hurricane Camille in 1969. As a Navy Seabee I was involved in the cleanup and reconstruction of the area and as bad as the damage was then it looks minor compared to the damage from Rita.
