bleeding brakes

installed a used rf caliper and now having some air in the line issues.
with the linked calipers, does one side need to be bled first, then go to the other side?

I did the right first ....then the left. Not sure if it matters or not, but that worked for me.

iirc the line goes from the mc to the right side and terminates in the left.
so if air's in the right side it could go to the left and back thru, creating the sympoms i'm having?????????

it's dark now & i'm having beers or i'd check it

I had the same problem with my brakes. I bled all the brake fluid out of the lines on both sides. I then took the right front brake caliper off lightly pushed the (6) pistons back into the caliper so they were all even. Did the same thing on the Left caliper as the right & re-bled them to seat the pistons & to get the air out. I did not have any problems after I did that. Just my 2 cents

i had a similar issue b4, and it self corrected.
maybe after i changed out the pads, in effect doing what ninjakiller did (except draining the fluid)

If you're bleeding the front brake lines, then you should bleed the right side first (as you're sitting on the bike right). Then bleed the left. It seems like you're doing it backwards or maybe our directions are crossed. Can you be talking about left and right as you're facing the bike? If so, then it's just the opposite of what I said.
