Blowing out the cobwebs

Today myself and two others went for our first 07 Putt.
I'm the youngest at 55--- we still rock pretty good because all three of us have never quit riding....
Ok this month i have owned my Busa for FIVE years.....
Sometimes get abit bored with it crusing the speed limit,
Then kindof forget what she can really do!! Well today reignited my lust for the Busa--- out in the boonies so to speak--- 10,800 revs in 3rd and grab 4th--- for abit...
How lucky we are to [quote P. Egan] Experiance the invigorating joys of mild panic. Gawd what a bike...and so many others that Rock our world... Hope we all can have a safe fun season of riding...

Ditto on the bigbore dirtbikes. My brother n'law has a warmed over 02' KX500.  It's a point n shoot kind bike. Looking ahead while riding that bike is what it's all about. I'm 6'4 300lbs, even with my big ass leaned over the bars i couldn't keep the front down!  It would dig in and launch. It's pure evil in green

Yep, I had my 'busa out yesterday. First day without rain/snow/wind in 2 weeks. Only got up to 42 degrees, so the ride was short. Felt REAL GOOD to be back in the saddle!

Pacemaster is the youngest (and the fastest

) of our misfit riding group; at 62 I fall somewhere in the middle, yikes! Hey, but talk about being all fired up and excited like a kid at Xmas, I can hardly wait for May 20th! We're all going to make it a LONG day (320 plus/minus miles round trip) up and over the Sierras and west to Infineon Raceway to catch the AMA Superbike races! We'll be on the look out for other busa riders/members there!

had mine out for a short spin. roads were cold so i opened her up just a "little bit"

and yeah, nows the time to will best wishes for the riding season. be careful out there.
