I'm just wondering how many guys use the Bluetooth helmets I bought one of the cardo units the only thing I can get it to do is play music and use it on phone calls. I'm trying to figure out how to use the intercom me and another guy bought the same exact unit and can't get the intercom function to work we're both trying to set it up using the phone app

Thanks I knew there had to be a easier way we messed with it for two hours with no lunch will try this next time . Are you talking about the wheel it's at the back

It's a Cardo? Hold down the rear button on both units they should synch. Don't need to use the app.
I struggled with my lesser quality units. Did not buy the Cardo's, purchased the Crapo's instead. Still have to sync both units every time I use them.:banghead:
Only takes 10 seconds...but it burns my craw.

Should have consulted you Red. DOH!
Rubb.

I found setting up a Bluetooth chain connection between multiple riders a pain in the but. Then they made the new “Mesh” units from Cardo and Sena. So easy just turn on and ride, no confusing who connects in what order.
Just all have to get the same brand, my group has Sena so that’s what I bought into, but I think cardo is marginally better with its water resistance.

I actually just seen sena has a new "+mesh" product that im looking at that will allow to connect any sena that doesn't have mesh to anyone that does. I really like my old model smh10r over the bulkier units but sometimes it's nice to be able to connect with more then 3 people. Im not 100 percent but I think it will connect with other products like cardo too.

Sena 30K, 50k (better sounding speakers) as well as the Cardo packtalk Both have mesh and bluetooth. So they can talk to other makes via Bluetooth and sane brands via proprietary mesh.

Sounds like you have the Freelance 4; mine's a 2, doesn't have a wheel. The button I'm talking about is closest to the rear; has a phone logo next to it. On the 2, you press and hold that rear button on both units and it initiates bluetooth pairing. It should work.
